1970 Ludwig Serial Number???

Hi,

I need help on finding a serial number for a ludwig acrolite with a date stamp of august 11, 1970. Any advice on finding the correct serial number would be helpful. I need to know to win a contest. This might be a stupid question but do the numbers go or down as the time advances?

If you will click on Visit our Partner Web Sites at the top of this page and click on Vintage Drum Guide and then click on Ludwig Drum History, you will find a serial number guide.
