1969 PSYCHedelic RED Ludwigs

Loading...

Just acquired these recently, March 2010. Date stamps are JUN 20 1969. Add-on 12" tom APR 3 1972. I am only 3rd owner, last guy had them since 1976, SF Bay area. Currently doing some minor hardware changes/restoration. My theory is that this was a 4 piece w/consolette and they added a tom, drilled bass drum(ouch!) converting to center post mount. Finish is immaculate and snare is MINT COND. Very low miles on these. Literally!

I guess Nick can borrow mine if he wants. Psychedelic baby! flowers2I will be adding another bass drum. I'm just not satisfied without double bass. If anybody knows someone who likes/specializes in these kinds of pearl finishes send me their way!flower Looking for pink oyster now...or was that pink clamm....
