1968 Pearl COS snare

Just finished cleaning this up yesterday.Not pretty,plenty of pitting-whatever-they aren't all beauties.Has an odd,boxy,big piccolo tone,maybe due to not installing new heads.Throw works much better than most MIJ's.Pretty primitive construction as far as interior welds,bearing edge etc.I'll try it at church soon.

Yes,they are.But not in what I'd call a very scientific manner.Almost like a guy on the production line with a hand press-And why no badge?Looks like it never had one at all,no scratches in the chrome,or residue from a sticker.Those photos are very forgiving.....

Try a gently used, broken in AMbassador on it. I use a medium wieght Hazy on the bottom. I like the fact it is so hard to date them..Coffee Break2..It makes us look so much smarter....LoLoLoLo
