Help2 I recently inherited a 1967 Sonor 3 piece set (bass, tom, floor tom). I found some hardware I'm need to start restoring the kit, but I'm unsure how much I should spend on it. The floor tom is missing the bottom hoop and has ludwig brackets and legs on it. A gentleman has the parts I need and asked what I would offer for them. I'm not exactly sure how much to say without offending him. Need a little bit of help. Thanks Help2

The 16 rim is very hard to find. Took me quite a while when I was looking about 10 years ago. Hardly ever show up on Ebay. Would offer $35-45 for a good one in good chrome shape. Legs might be straight rods, so getting a good sub will be pretty easy. And almost no one will know the difference.
As said, different leg mounts were used, so need to lock into year of shell. Do they have any number stamped inside? This would lock in a month and year of manufacture.
Offer $125 for a rim (tension rods as well please!), 3 mounts and 3 legs and see what he says.
hi what color are the Sonors?
