1967 Ludwig Supraphonic

Loading...

This is a 1967 Supraphonic that I dressed up with tube lugs and single flange hoops to give it the 1920s look. I installed a Millenium throw-off because it has a period "Victorian" look. It has a Remo Fiberskyn batter, Remo Emperor snare side, 18 wire snares (unknown brand).

This is the same drum that I had powder coated which now appears here: http://www.vintagedrumforum.com/showthread.php?t=16990

Hi,

You did a great job.

Just for my own information, what sized tube lugs did you use for the Supra (that is the distance between the screw holes) and would it be the same for an Acrolite?

cheers, Kevin

The distance on all of Ludwig's Imperial lugs and the superclassic lugs used on the Supraphonic and Acrotile respectively are 2 3/16" center to center.
