1967 Ludwig Club Date

Loading...

Hey guys! Its been a while since my last post, I just wanted to thank you guys for encouraging me to buy my very first vintage kit! I snagged a 1967 Ludwig club date after posting a poll on here asking if I should go for it or not. Lemme tell ya, I have had more fun with this kit than any other kit I own! I posted a pic after I got it but I wanted to post a more updated picture, so I took em with me to a few places and got a beautiful pic of it on a scenic overlook in Oklahoma! I hope you enjoy this pic as much as I do!

Ahhh, Clubbies! Warm, open and punchy. My favorite sounding floor toms in the world are those little 14"x14"s that come with Club Date kits. Great sounding floor toms. That's a sharp looking kit.

John

Too many great drums to list here!

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

Timmy,

Great set!

I have an Atlas Classic straight stand and intend on picking up the snare stand as well. What do you think of the snare stand?

Also, does a straight stand for your ride cymbal get it into a comfortable playing position, or would you have gone with the Atlas Classic boom in hindsight? I go back and forth on which one to get. :)

Thanks a million
