It sounds amazing!

The only problems i have are:

- one of the bass drum spur mount isn't tight and i have fear to tight

- if i use the rail consolette fot tom, after some minutes, the tom moves a little bit on and on

Thanks for the compliments! So I have not played mine yet at a gig but mainly just at the house doing bop style drumming. No issues with my tom moving or coming loose but I will say the Ludwig wrench is worth every penny. At first I thought I was going overboard but trust me it helps get everything tight. This is how I have my tom setup:

I would imagine you could also use some type of plumbers tape to or any other grip tape to help things from moving (on the rail mount) and some thread lock for the other places. This is better if you plan on leaving your mount setup in a certain position. For gigs I think I will just have the mount as it is and zip around it.

Now for the bass drum legs issue. I noticed early on that some areas the wood had become soft. During my restoration I saturated these spots with flexible CA glue. The flexible CA (super glue) will harden the wood. I imagine you could also get close to the same effect with a slightly thinned wood glue. I have used this method before in other carpentry projects as well as with model aviation with great success. So far everything is holding up great.

I had problems with my tom moving and discovered that I needed to replace the L-arm. Once I did that I no longer had a problem. I also have everything snubbed down real tight and do not change anything. I leave everything as is and zip the case around it & I leave it stick out. I don't let anyone else carry the bass drum either. Helpful hands sometimes cause problems.

Steve Maxwell has new repro's for $10.00. Make's all the difference, having fresh splines to clamp onto......

My rail,is '65 so different from this pictures and i think the wheel with holes is a little bit ovalized so probably this cause a little loose in tight

Thanks for advice for bass drum spurs. I would like to remove them but i'm scared about some damages...my real concern is about the real health of the wood in that area....

Choosing to ignore it if it is an issue won't make it any better. I don't think it would cause any damage by removing the spurs. In fact it might cause more damage to ignore it and put them through the stress of playing. Anyway it makes more sense to address any possible issues. Inspect the area and get any problems sorted is my advice :)
