SOLD
I hate to do it...but I'm officially listing my 1966 Turquoise Flame Teardrop kit for sale. Asking $900 USD + shipping. These drums absolutely punch and i know I will regret selling them. I am after another drum so I have to let go of something.
14x20 Bass Drum
8x13 Tom Tom
16x16 Floor Tom
5x14 Metal D-444 Snare
The original satin flame/moire wrap has plenty of scuffs and spider webbing but no tears and it looks great from a few feet away.
The hoops on the 13" and 16" toms are 60s Premier die cast. I do not have Sonor hoops. The only other issues are that this tom arm appears to have been for a double tom tom set up and is missing one arm extension. My guess is the original single tom arm was lost along the way and someone replaced it with a double tom arm. The bass drum spurs are missing the rubber feet and the adjustment ring. One of the lugs on the D-444 has a broken mounting stem but the lug holds tight with one stem. The snare also has flaking and missing chrome in a couple spots (similar to what you see on older Ludwig Supraphonics).
Included in this sale is the four drums, tom holder, original Sonor floor tom legs (with the original round rubber feet) and a ride cymbal stand for the bass drum (I'm not sure if it is original, it looks like it). I have cleaned and polished this kit completely so you don't have to...including replacing the rotted foam inside all of the lugs with new, more durable foam.
I would trade for a Rogers Dayton/Cleveland 14x14 Steel Grey Ripple floor tom
