1966 Rogers Buddy Rich Headliner/WMP

Loading...

'Tis time to cut this one loose ... so, here's the skinny! Have a read as it is interesting!

I am only the 2nd owner of this set! I gigged these extensively for close to 15 years .. and .. that was prior to what we all know now on what happens to WMP when exposed to UV. Still, these are now "mellow/yellow" WMP, but have gone over pretty evenly as the pics will show.

These were ordered from Rogers back in 1966 as the "BR Headliner", but with some requested substitutions. The sizes are: 14X20 ... 8X12 ... and 14x14. Disappearing cymbal holder for the ride, and Knobby/"L" arm for a splash. PERFECT flat grey interiors with all tags present and unmolested. The chrome and hardware is in near mint condition. Hard fibre/foam lined cases are included! The cases are as clean as the drums too. Have a look at the pics, and ... the last pic is how I was playing them. So ...

The three drums, hardware shown, and cases: $1600.00, or serious best offer. THANKS for looking!

I would have snatched them up quickly if Tommy was including his matching 1967 wood Dynasonic! GREAT set at a great price. Congrats to whomever ends up getting these.
