It's really beautiful. I note that Slingerland appears to have used the same wrap as Rogers on the Leedy drums. The Slingerland drums had a different pattern. I also note that this wrap must have translucent areas that result in the reflection of the mahogany outer ply through to the clear outer layer of the wrap. Rogers seems to have employed stain to achieve that look. Ludwig's oyster black pearl often had that same look. See the Rogers drum photo attached in which you can see the stain.
