Thanks for all the complements! I was working on buying this drum, through a friend that repairs school instruments. They had the 1966 WMP drumset, but would not sell it to my friend. Much later he went back, and it was gone. He asked, and a drummer wanted it really bad/ so they sold it! LOL

My friend was upset, because he was trying to get it for YEARS!

As he was leaving, they told him "we could not find the snare". He told them, if they did/ to sell it to him. Months later he went back to the school, and they said/ we found the snare. However, we are going to sell it the the first guy. They said he left his buisness card, but we can't find it. As he left, he said/ if you can't find his info I am still interested. The next trip to the school and they said "someone must have thrown out the buisness card". He called me with the good news/ 6.5"! Man, I could not believe it! He purchased the drum, and basically passed it through to me!

The years of waiting on it makes it more interesting. I thought it would NEVER happen!
