1964 Slingerland kit on CL

Loading...

Hi guys,

I have no interest in Slingerland drums, but I saw this on the local CL.

San Luis Obispo, CA (central coast, midway between LA and SFO). Anyhow, this is the first quality vintage kit I've seen in a long time on this CL, so I thought I'd forward it along to the Slingerland buffs, FYI.

Enjoy, Marty Black

The marching drum conversion to floor tom looks very good except for the generic or Pearl leg mounts. It would be a good deal for the three WMP drums with the splash cymbal and pedals at $500. Most of us vintage nuts don't care about the Pearl snare drum.

No matter how far you push the envelope, it is still stationery.

That bearing edge on the 14" looks like a roller coaster.

From thin shell

That bearing edge on the 14" looks like a roller coaster.

I wouldn't be so quick to say that. The wrap is trimmed in a wavy line. If that's all that it is, the counter hoop hides that.
