1961 Slingerland? Help needed

Update: I listed the entire kit at $700 online, with full disclosure of the mods that were made. Found a guy that has 5 Slingerland kits and loves restoring them. After he pointed out some of the hardware being not original and a few other things, we settled on $620. It went to the right home! We also found one date: March 62

Appreciate everyone's responses. Glad it found its way to a good owner who will restore it properly. Told him to send pics when he is finished! I have a mid 60's Ludwig that is period correct that remains my go to kit. Will post some pics of that sometime soon.

You did well. The guy who bought the drums knew what he was getting, paid a fair price, and knows how to rehab them. Congratulations.
