I believe Dave Drew of Al Drew's music told me he has a beavertail version in the small sizes (20,12,14) with a matching Dynasonic. And maybe, Bobby Chiasson of the Drum Farm said he had the same set (possibly without the Dynasonic).

I have to say that even though I am really partial to red onyx, I think Dave's set-up would be the Zenith for me. That finish really grabs me. (Not that WMP isn't really, really nice Tommy! LoL)

What a cool set and true time capsule. Great to see kits like these still out there. A keeper for sure. How do you like the sound of them? What heads are you using? B&B lugs and tall boy hoops are so classy looking too.

This kit was found in the gold filled hills of soCal.

I posted the labels for the hardcore.

The heads are Aquarian Modern vintage mediums (the vintage looking tan heads) on tom & FT. Coated Ambassador on snare & Aquarian Super kick on BD batter. The kick sounds AWESOME!. Very big & thick for a 20" & the toms sound big as well. I'm using this kit for it's first gig on May 14th. Thanks for all the comments. I really dig this kit!
