Posting for my father. He is the original owner, he bought them when he was 15 and they are in immaculate condition. They still look new and have double cases. Wondering what they are worth? He paid $1, 500 in 1965

$1,500 adjusted for inflation and cost of living, per annum taking into account the devalued dollar adjusted for....etc., etc.. oh whatever. $1,500 then is like, what, $15,000 today?
