Single tension steel snare, 6 bullet lugs with clawed tension rods and single flanged hoops. Tension rods are inverted with an Evans 200 snare side to bump up the bottom tension.

Thanks. I like the "free floater" aspect on the Kent steels. Tuned right, they have a phenomonal sound. Can't say the same for the maples or luans though.
