1959 Slingerland Red Sparkle Kit

Loading...

Sizes are 5x14 9x13 16x16 14x22 in Red Sparkle.

Once I cleaned them, and set up to play I was totally amazed

by the deep, and rich beautiful sound these drums create..

Bought these at an Instrument flea market show from the original owner.

Super nice. Yes, "rich" is a good word to describe Slingerlands.

Now that's a nice kit and quite the score! They're easily worth $1,000 more than what you paid for them. I recently (and reluctantly) sold a '56 1N ensemble w/snare in BDP finish for $1,500. Well done.

PK: humor me please...are there dates inside the drums telling you when in '59 each drum was made?
