I have a RARE 1958 Leedy kit in Silver Veil Pearl finish. It is a 3 piece kit that consists of an 8X12 tom, a 14X22 Bass Drum, and a matching 5.5X14 snare. The shells are a 3 ply mahogany with maple rerings. The finish is almost mint except for a spot on the bass drum where the tom rubbed. The bracket for the cymbal arm in the bass drum is also missing. I have a Ludwig snare stand from the 60's to go with it, cases for the drums, and a speed king pedal(you need to get new linkage for the pedal) I have been told by the vintage historian from Modern Drummer Harry Cangany that this kit is worth "at least $2000.00" I can email the letter from him to anyone who wishes to see it. I'm asking $1500.00 not including shipping. Im in the process of trying to add photos to this posting but the site keeps telling me the files are too big.I will continue to try.
