April 2nd 1969 scarfed pink champagne holly wood and 65/66 downbeat snare, and , supra same year very minty kit old pies
66/67 downbeat with canister
Super 400 small round knob
1967 super classic obp
once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

I acquired this Gretsch Cocktail set a few years ago. The "bass drum" has the snare apparatus under the top head. But, that type of "snare" drum sound is more anemic than a cajon with rattles on it. So, I bought a little popcorn snare that I rewrapped in a piece of matching wrap that a friend stripped off of an old bass drum. This little outfit is comfortable to play while either sitting or standing.
No matter how far you push the envelope, it is still stationery.

Very nice original find! Always liked those kits with the convertible bass drum.
