1950's vintage John Grey snare drum

Loading...

Here is a vintage john grey broadway 14x5.5 snare drum. This particular model from the 50's is very rare. It has the red badge and is 8 lugs. Everything is original apart from heads and wires. The finish is original white. The interior looks like at some stage it was stained. Might have been stained from new. In the 60's they made the broadway a cheaper 6 lug model. This particular shell has reinforcing hoops. The classic strainer and butt are original. The hoops are in fab condition and original. You wont see many of these about. I decided to keep the white finish original with the chips and scrapes. All the best sean.
