Hey Joe,

The center to center measurement on the holes for the butt plate is just about 2". Looks like it's between 1 15/16" and 2", if you want to get specific.

I have a 50's 1 ply Slingerland snare that I can't find the right Butt plate for. Center to Center is 2 3/8. It has the 3 point strainer. I don't want to drill so the search is still on. Thanks for the fast reply.

I'm curious, did you measure straight across or did you follow the curve of the shell? Maybe that would be the 3/8'' difference I'm coming up with.

I pretty much measured straight across. If I measure the shell to compensate for the curve, it's still only about 2 1/8".
