1949 Leedy Broadway 'Concert' Snare Drum. 9" x 15" a certified CANNON of a snare drum. Designed for Big-Bands and orchestra, this old-timer is LOUD and it has a mighty crack to it. Perfect for Rock or Blues. No missing hearing the backbeat with this beast. Great tone out on the rims. Rolls and rim-shots play themselves. Die-cast hoops!

Nickel over brass hardware and hoops. The vintage Leedy strainer and butt plate are accurate modern reproductions. The drum was a painted mess when I got it. I stripped it and left the natural wood showing through the finish. It has a few age marks, but they only lend character/mojo to the drum. 15" Snappy Snares make the drum sensitive and responsive which is surprising in such a large snare drum. It is only missing a small tone control knob. I can point you in the right direction if you want one.

Deep-dish heaven. Woody tone for days, vintage mojo to die for.
