1936 ludwig special concert snare - Page 1

Hello all

I'm slowly restoring this 15x8 ludwig snare. Its was painted over at some point, but I've got it back to its original state. Does the color look right for ludwig mahogany? Also Im still looking for a ludwig standard strainer. Thanks

Nice snare. The color looks very close to an original Ludwig mahogany snare I have.

Good. Maybe with some natural aging and use it will get better
