NB: Not sure what's happening here but the message keeps popping up: "Gallery upload system unavailable". So until that gets handled you can see my photos/articles at NotSoModernDrummer or Drumforum.com

Hi,
I just got this drum from my friend and fellow collector Bijan Oskoiue. This was one of the smoothest deals ever. A few messages back and forth, a price adjustment, PayPal money sent and the drum arrived within a week. I am told that Silver Flash is a scarce finish for a drum from the Ludwig Anniversary era.

1936 LUDWIG 6.5x14 SILVER FLASH SUPER LUDWIG MODEL

THE SHELL:
The Silver Flash is in great shape with some wear near the badge but there are no “cancer” spots. The finish cleaned up and polished up nicely. The interior shows its age with a nice 3611 date stamp.

THE HARDWARE:
Overall the hardware is in great shape, especially the tension rods which is pretty rare as we all know how thrashed those steel tension rods can get. Everything cleaned up and polished up nicely. The Super mechanism is smooth and works perfectly.

Calf heads top and bottom rounded out this cleaning/restoration.

Enjoy!

To add to what Hoppy said, you will have to copy the pictures from your computer any way you wish, such as right click and then copy, CTRL-C or any of the other options available.

To Paste into a thread, you will need to make sure your cursor is where you want the picture to go in the thread and then use CTRL-V, as this is the only way the forum software will allow. I just did this in a new thread I started and it worked fine. In doing this test, I got a big screen that said "Server Error" but I clicked outside of that window and it took me back to my thread.

Thanks for helping out.  We are working through a lot of the small stuff and the gallery system is part of it.
