Is this the going rate for a kit like this?

1935 Ludwig 25th Anniversary - $649 Sizes are 28, 13, 14. Outstanding condition. All original (no snare). If you're looking at this, you know what it is. All drums are stamped inside 0635 (June of 1935).

*Sorry if this is a repeater*

I saw it on CL and ... well I just thought it might be too good to be true and was just curious as to the relative "value". I really thought something like this would be worth more (even with tacked heads).

Hoppy, due to the sizes the bass drum 28" which I own 4 of love big drums, and the tacked bottoms, they sound like crap! other than Historical Interest, not very applicable in today's world, unless you play turn of the century music! but this is a beautiful kit! but that price is about right!

LOL... good perspective on the historical music (I wonder if speak-easy's are gonna make a comeback anytime soon???)

Thanks for the info, they looked pretty nice in the pics and I just had no idea what the market value was on these drums.
