1930s? Ludwig Racer pedal- value?

I have - what I was told - is a 1930s Ludwig Racer pedal in fully complete condition.

How rare are these? Anybody know much about them? Should I hold on to it or are they not rare items?

Looks like the same frame as the "Junior" Pedal with a different foot plate. There was a Racer foot plate only that sold on ebay for $11.50 (Google search).
