I have a L&S 26" bass drum, it has the circular badge from the mid 30'. It has 8 original tension rods that reach from rim to rim, it has no legs or mounts for legs. It is a brown shell with blond rims. At one time I thought it was a generic concert drum that you saw everywhere, but since have learned some history, and am wondering if it is less common than I thought. I love it, but I'm really an upright bass player who drums on the side and I have a great little kick drum in my set, when I pass this on I want to know more about it.
1930's L&S Bass drum....is this rare?
L&S drums are extremely rare as they were only made for a few years.
The drum is in great shape, it has two barely used weatherking fiberskyn heads, I'm open to offers if anyone is interested.......

can you post any pics any issues what color is it and is it a 14x26"?
It is 14" from the outer edge rim to rim, brown with blond rims, I'll get the pictures together it'll just take a day or two...
The only issues it ever had, the rim was repaired by a professional and two of the posts that the tension rods run through were missing a spacer between them and the shell, are replaced by small washers....
