1924 Ludwig Double Bass Pedal

Loading...

On ebay.com, an "Antique 1924 Ludwig and Ludwig Double Bass Drum Pedal" is listed, item number 280790851158. It appears that two beaters could be employed simultaneously. One beater is missing. I have never seen such a pedal before and am intrigued with the mechanics of it. It certainly is a beautiful looking piece of vintage workmanship. If anyone knows anything about such a pedal, I certainly would be interested in learning more. Thank you. John?

That fellow has his facts wrong. That is a regular pedal with a rod for the cymbal beater. He has the beater on the wrong hole as well.It should look like this. Then again I have been wrong before.I hope this helps.Vati

Thank you very much, Vati! I just logged on again, realizing that I posted in the wrong section. Sorry. Old habits die hard. I certainly appreciate your input, sir.
