1920's Leedy Elite Snare Drum??????

That's a mid '20s Leedy "Professional" model. If it was an "Elite" it would have a black nickel finish with engraving and "faux" gold hardware or a lacquer finish with the gold hardware. If your drum has the the "presto" throw-off, it's probably from around 1925...if it has the "speedway" (similar, but with an extension lever) it's from around '26-29. In 1930 the lugs were changed.
