Hi,

Just replacing a thread that was lost in the move... It's a rare drum and I wanted to restore it to the gallery.

1920-23 Ludwig Black Beauty Deluxe

Early model with 'Wave Pattern' engraving.

Strainer stamped: Pat. Pending

2-piece heavy brass shell w/gold-tone hoops, lugs and hardware.

I am very proud and happy to own it, buddy! I get to play it whenever I want to and it just doesn't get much better than that. It's the 'Crown' of my little collection.

Thanks. I had posted a thread at the 'new' forum but it's all gone. Photos, responses, all gonzo. Because it's such a classic and rare drum, I restarted the thread. I wanted it in the Gallery. It's a fun drum to play, sensitive and all kinds of balls when you want it. I wish you guys could just drop by and check it out for yourself. Beyond words.
