1919 "Tango" Ludwig & Ludwig Last viewed: 3 hours ago

Hello all,

Looking to sell this Ludwig snare drum.

1919 "tango" Ludwig and Ludwig,

Original strainer

10 single tension rods

remo heads

Has three extra holes in the shell and two very small holes underneath the strainer on the hoop. The ones under the strainer (hoop not shell) don't go all the way through.

I have a ton of pictures zipped up ready to email

Shell is thick mahogany with maple on the exterior, 2 ply? solid maple hoops. One hoops has separation (see pictures)

chrome is in good condition for the age, no pitting or rust, but many dings and scratches

I have no idea how much it is worth and I know the holes totally kill the value. I'm gonna say $300? Open to offer for sure as I have this strange feeling no one wants this drum...Violin

I have a couple similar that I've been trying to sell for a while -..even without the extra holes I'm down to $125... single tension drums just don't really move. Good luck!

The problem is the single tension. It really limits what you can do with the drum.
