1912 Ludwig Snare Drum

Loading...

I'm not sure if many of you have seen one of the first Ludwig & Ludwig snare drums. This is from the 1912 (or so) Catalog.

I have only seen one drum with this badge.

It is behind the strainer as you can see in the photo.

Does anyone have one in their collection?

Hi David,

I have several...4x14, 5x14, 6.5x14, 4x15, 5x15...looking for that 6.5x15 to finish the set...I'll send photos soon.

Hey Mike!

If you do decide to add a photo, put it in the main gallery and if it needs to be sized, send me the image!

Nice article in NSMD! The current issue is at the mailing company!

And now, that strange slingerland drum key that I was going to bid on....hmmm.... I wonder who got that?
