18" Slingerland Bass Drum Spurs

Loading...

I've been searching for info on the length of Slingerland 18" kick drum spurs - '60s vintage.

I've scanned through nearly 200 posts here - sorry if I missed it - as well as inquiring of eBaby sellers with such drums - but without result.

Sadly when I got my quasi-Jet Outfit, both spurs and 1 spur wingbolt were missing - waah.

I see things around - assorted ones on eBaby, as well as JP replicas - but regardless of how I solve the missing problem, I'd like to use the proper length of spur.

I thought something around 11" or 12" would be ok and cut some test rods at 12" - - that seems TOO short.

I'm just wondering - What did they come with from the factory?

...but when he played on his drum, he made the stars explode....

My BAD! My test spurs were only 9" - I've since found someone kind enough to tell me that his 18" Slingy bass drum spurs are 11 3/4". Question answered.
