I have an 1898 Imperial Drum Method Instruction book by Harry A. Bower. Very yellowed, but still in tact. Page 82 has military calls including Drummer's Call, Adjutqant's Call, The Assembly, First Call For Guard Mounting, Second Call for Guard Mounting, The General, To The Cololors, To Recall Detachments, Drill Call, The Police Call, Water Call, and Wood Call and others. Sort of let's you know where some of our drum heritage.

I tried to scan the cover and the Drum Calls Page but the files were too large to upload.

All pages are in tact. The part you would call the spine has been eaten by book lice. Other than that, the book is in mint condition and pages can be turned.

The book was published by The John Church Company, Theodore Presser Co., Selling Agents, 1712 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, PA

Price $1.25 (which I thought was awfully high for that era.)

Anyone want to venture a guess on value?
