1875-1975 Rosewood Sonor Bongo Drums

Loading...

I have this set of bongo drums, with the matching concert tom drum set, which I will be getting ready for sale. That is the thought any way. The snare drum that came with the set was a chrome snare. Regardless it is time to part with the set. The sad part is the friend that gave me the set, threw all of the original hardware in the garbage because it was in his way in the garage. Yep. Did I give him an earful. This was all 20 years ago, and I have lost contact with this friend. Part of the "rack" that houses my drum book collection has also 5 or 6 sets of vintage bongos. Trying to keep things simplified, they are close at hand and it is time to document them.

This page CLICK HERE is where I will start adding photos of this part of my collection. I have a bunch! Including some wonderful vintage African drums, a pan drum, 2 sets of conga drums, 6 sets of bongos and a few sets of timbale drums. One set which I garbage picked!
