OMG. It might sound really great, but why would someone do that in the first place?

What I heard is that some players do this in an attempt to dry out an overly washy cymbal. It doesn't work.

I wonder how much heavier it'd be, and how different it'd sound, if it had all of its bronze back.

A little less low end, slightly higher pitch, and overall still like sh*t.

While I agree its not my cup of tea sonically, and certainly not visually, I've heard a lot worse.
