Hello all! I have a 16x16 RK shell that I'm looking to trade for a 16x16 RK shell. Let me explain: the one I have has a maple exterior ply for a duco finish and is drilled for mini beavertail lugs, I'm looking for one with an exterior ply of mahogany for a wrap and drilled for large beavertails.
I'll post pictures and explain as I go (I'll have to make a few posts to get all the pics in).
I don't know why the first picture is sideways. Anyway, as you can see, someone painted it white and then blue at some point. There is glue residue on top of the paint, so someone obviously wrapped it. The 2nd and 3rd pics are the top bearing edge, the 4th and 5th are the bottom, showing that the shell is slightly out of round. I am able to put an Aquarian head on both sides, but it's snug. Remo's collars are generally a little larger, I just don't have one available to try on it. Also, the bearing edges are very smooth, but there is some blue overspray on the edges and reinforcement hoops...pics of that coming soon.
