This is the kind of story that should be told in the local newspapers and on the TV stations, rather than the garbage we hear all the time. I guess we need to know what's going on, bad and good. But, if kids heard about this kind of thing more often, there would be a lot more 26 year olds with the selflessness you and your brother have displayed.

I can't wait to see pictures! I hope you will stick around the forum and I hope you can talk your dad into joining us as well!

God bless you and your family!

Thanks for the kind words, my dad has raised me right I suppose. Lord knows he has sacrificed more then his fair share for us, including ending his professional drum playing days to make more money for a family, and I put both my parents through there fair share in my younger days. 16-22ish.Cool Dude

If anyone comes across rare drums to this set or has any leads let me know. Only thing I think he needs is some smaller toms 10'' and under and a snare drum. His whole kit besides the new drum is in the 900,000's but I don't think it will matter much when it comes to hard to find ones for that kit.

I wish we could have waited, but I guess thats the youth in us, but with everyone having different work schedules I wanted everyone to be a part of the excitement!

The drum got here yesterday, and wow it is in great shape. Whoever owned this drum took care of them just like my dad.:D

He bought a flying tom a few years back to add to his set, and this drum is within 10,000 of its badge number.

Is there anyway I can post a decent sized picture? I still haven't figured that out.Eye BallEye

Glad to hear it came in and in good shape!

I haven't posted many pics, but you generally have to size them down. Doing that is different on different computers. I know on a Dell, you open the pic, right click on the pic, select Resize Pictures and it gives you some size options. On my wife's Mac, I have to open the pic, click Tools at the top, click Resize File (can't remember exactly what it is, something to do with "size"), and it gives you size options.

I hope you can figure it out, I'm sure there are a lot of us that would like to see your pics!

I'll probably do a link then, so they can be full sized. I'll show a few of that drum, when the weather is nicer, we will get the full setup.
