I have a couple of Leedy trap rail cymbal mounts. However, they accept 1/4" cymbal arm. I am having little success finding arms to fit. Does anyone have a recipe for making own cymbal arms? Thanks. Tim

You could make your own arm by buying a metal dowel rod at your local hardware store. They usually have bare metal (which look like patina'd nickel) or zinc-coated, which almost look like cleaner nickel. Of course, you would have to put a tilter on top to keep the cymbal on.
If I were you, though...I would hit up Blair. He's a great guy to deal with.
On a related note...Blair, I replied to your pm. I'm interested that 1400 stand.

Here are photos of trap rail and cymbal mount on the rail. Had to use my phone, so the photos poor. Thanks for helping me with this.
