The first thing that comes to mind when I see that number is....Damn, I posted a lot! What a wonderful place to share knowledge, make friends and find some great information. Kudos to David for the techy stuff, TommyP for the uplifting posts and all-out Rogers freakdom. I'm not going to list everyone, you guys know who you are as my go-to's and backup. Thanks for being such that.
I look forward to more continued friendships, posts, irritants and other debauchery. As an "seasoned person" as my friend says and in the 46 years I've acquired and the dealings that I've had on this forum and a few others, I've amassed a point of view that discussion, in all it's forms, is still enlightening to all parties involved. I think that most people nowadays could use a bit thicker skin. IMHO, it's a shorter trip than it used to be to get "feelings" hurt and some just don't take any form of constructive criticism or input that doesn't align with their own views. I remember what Mom told me, "Stick and stones may break my bones, but words will never harm me."
Aside from a few minor issues with a select few, I've always taken something with me from a conversation had here. Whether it was a piece of information about drums or life. On the rare occasion, I have come away with a more honest look at myself as others see me.
Finally, when I hear a DJ on the radio, they never look like I thought they did. I have mental pictures of most all of the names I have seen on here. I would like to start a trend of putting a face to the anonymous. For the curious, here's my own:
