10-lug acrolite galaxy snare

Loading...

hey guys...i recently got myself a 10-lug galaxy acrolite; had never seen one before. how common are they? it's my understanding that the acrolite & supraphonic have the same shells, with the main differences being the chrome finish & the 10 lugs on the supraphonic. this acrolite must be pretty close to a supra, since it's got 10 lugs too. any thoughts?......

That would be a pretty rare drum. Alot of people have powder coated their pitting and flaking Supras, so it could be that as well.

Any pictures?

black Acros come in 5x14 8-lug and 6.5x14 10 lugs.

Classic lugs are used on the majority of them.

Basically, yours has the same shell as a Supra 402 w/o chroming.

Rare,I find that debate-able,most Acros you see are 5 's,the 6.5 aren't usually in stock at a store, most likely they are ordered.

Great snare,workin' man's 402 in my book!
