1956 Slingerland Radio Kings

Just thought I would post up a pic of my 1956 Slingerland Gene Krupa Deluxe Radio King ensemble 1-N for documentation purposes. This kit is all original and looks and sounds as great as 1950's RK drums should sound!

22x14 bass drum

16x16 floor tom

13x9 rack tom

14x5.5 Super Gene Krupa Radio King snare

I'm very proud of this kit, however I have to sell it. Was supposed to sell it a year ago when I picked up my '53 Leedy & Ludwig kit...and tried to hold onto it...but unfortunately need to let her go. I hope to make someone else a new happy owner soon.

What a beautiful kit! In all honesty, I was never a fan of BDP...BUT...Slingerland's large-chip version was always the exception. Really nice!
