Sweet piece of Gretsch history. Would love to see some close-up pics of that snare.

Love the color. Love it. And your list is only "some" of your kits...jeez, how many more ??

I've been following your posts about this set from the beginning.

I called it then "the winner of the month". It's more likely "the winner of the year".

What a find and what a gorgeous set, congratulations.

I've read in one of your previous posts that you were looking for the "old style" Gretsch logo with the stretched "T". I agree with you that it would look smashing on this kit. I have an early 60's RB where I have that logo on the BD front head.

I couldn't find them neither so I hand drew one on the head with a black marker. With a bit of a steady hand, it isn't that difficult and from 3 feet away you would swear it's the real thing.

Another option would be to go to a local sign maker. Even with the low resolution logo attached, I'm sure a graphic designer could make a vector based logo out of it and make you a die cut vinyl sticker.
