It sound amazing! Kinda reminds me of the old Ludwig marching drums from High School. I like it better than my Supra or my older keystone Acros. Funny thing is, I oiled the shell with Teak oil and when you play it you can smell the aroma of the oil coming from the vent hole.

So, sounds amazing but smells not so good ,,lol.

Cool picture Jeff. Drum is a real beauty. Great job.



I was surprised with mine how good it sounds tuned low-med-high. Some drums have a sweet spot they sound best at. These seem to sound great no matter where it's tuned.

Maybe take the batter off for a month or so & let it air.. (that's if you can see your way to tear yourself away from it ), the smell of teak oil should become bearable a lot sooner then.. I really do like that wrap ..touch of class..
