Just before Christmas I was in a thrift store and I picked up a bongo drum (one side) with that very finish - it also is a Star (Star is pre-Tama of course). My drum has a different badge. Then I saw some Slingerland on-line with the same finish as Oldschool has pointed out.......Now I see your beautiful snare drum.

Very nice indeed!

Thanks for the compliments on the drums guy's she's a hottie. i will be letting this one go in the very near future because i have a 68 yamaha red thunder snare that i like just as much .
