STARs on stage

Hello, dear forum members and drum enthusiasts!

Here are some pics I took Jumping2 since I restaurated my Star Bollero kit and took it out to play gigs.

The wrap is called "Fantasia" and always attracts attention of the people that come out to our concerts. And also the sound does!

As some of you might know, this set includes the matching KingBeat-Snare, the toms and bassdrum are 6-ply w/o re-rings and are painted grey on the inside, what dates them somewhere between 1967-73 (thanks to forum members Ralf and jonnistix!).

The tom-holder is not the original one (it was replaced by a Pearl DTH a long time ago - not by me!), but - at least - it´s a Tama Omniball system that works pretty well.

Keep on drummin`!

Lissy

Thank you, Rick, Roger and gwm!

In fact, I didn´t know what I saved when I pulled these babies out of a trashbin.

But I also fell in love with them at first sight and was surprised pleasantly by the sound of them!
