Well.....it is not Noble and Cooley....or Maxwin even.....but...it does sound like a floor tom....kind of...if you used it on a gig.....it would work...until someone found out.

You're kidding......this post is still alive......? WOW.
In the meantime, I have been looking for a stereo interface to iphone to make a video so you guys can hear this "wonderful plasticky tone." I have also constructed a snare out of a Goodwill cook pan. 10". This one sounds like a real snare. AGAIN........I need a stereo interface. Thank You for Playing Along......in time.......wow....good.

I knew a guy years ago who made a floor tom out on an old barrel. I never saw it, but he liked it, I guess. Whatever.

You know?......I just played that BFT=(Bucket Floor Tom), AND...it sounded pretty good.
NORMAL, Like a tom tom. The little GPS=(Goodwill Pan Snare) sounded very NORMAL too. Ahhhh....The Normal....TV.OD.
