I wanted to share with the forum that I have revised both of my serial number based dating guides. Both rely on many more drums than the original editions - twice as many Gretsch and three times as many Ludwigs. I have gone deeper on several topics and added some new insight gained in the several years since these were first published. The Gretsch guide now has color pictures, which is an upgrade from prior editions.
Both guides are now available from me, at rebeats.com or online via Amazon, Barnes & Noble and even Walmart.com. Copies will be available at the Chicago Drum Show in May. I am happy to sign any book purchased through me. Cost is $15 + $5 shipping in the US. I am happy to ship internationally, but shipping cost will likely be $10-15. Message me through VDF or send an email to Rick@GretschDrumDatingGuide.com if you want more information.
