Default Herch Percussion
Hello fellow drummers.
Has anyone ever heard of these Herch percussion drums I’ve been seeing?
Imported/made in Mexico. They look pretty sweet. The price is up there too.

I used to search eBay and Reverb several years ago when I was in the market for a drum from the Dominican Republic called a tamburo and would get results for these drums. I think they are very popular with Hispanic brass bands that really go in for bling and a big sound. I seem to remember that they were a big rage in California at one time, not sure if that is still the case. There are a few Youtube videos of these bands with the Herch drums. I love the same look on the Sousaphones. They all have beautiful plating and engraving and I would imagine that drives up the price.
