Default Powder Coating on 1980s Acrolites
I have a question on the 1980s era Ludwig Acrolites. As I'm sure you know these were the rounded corner blue/olive badge days and they started using a powder-coating on the shells. The coating came in basically two flavors: a metallic silver-gray hammered-look finish and a kind of bland medium gray finish.
I like the hammered look, but the plain gray tends to look splotchy over the years.

Do you folks have any suggestion on a product that can be used to polish the surface and put a little luster back in it?
I don't want to get into re-painting it.

Thanks!
